Project managers for the Zibambele Programme for the Ethekwini Municipality from 2003.The Zibambele Programme targets rural, women headed households to carry out low intensity road maintenance. The present number of beneficiaries in the Zibambele Programme in KwaZulu-Natalstands at over 40 000.
tpa Consulting pioneered the long term maintenance of watercourses with the Ethekwini Municipality in 2011. The Sihlanzimvelo Project ensures all watercourses in a targeted area are brought to an appropriate standard and are maintained at that standard. The goal of the project is to safeguard communities from hazards in watercourses and enrich the natural environment of the area. Work seekers employed on this project are provided an extended work opportunity where they can benefit from focussed training.
